Networks 2021 Awards
Main Conference Awards
Networks 2021 will have three types of awards, which will be judged by program committee members, organized session leaders, steering committee members, and volunteers. Sign up here to be a part of this committee.
Types of awards & eligibility
- Poster Awards: All poster presenters will be eligible based off their prerecorded 2-3 minute teaser talk and slides. All poster presenters who meet the June 28 9pm EDT deadline (applicable to all presenters) with both recorded teaser talk and slides are eligible.
- Lightning talks: All lightning talks will also be considered for an award also based off their recorded talks. All lightning speakers who meet the June 28 9pm EDT deadline (applicable to all presenters) with both recorded teaser talk and slides are eligible.
- Pitch Talk award: Based off the Network Science Society's award, Networks 2021 will recognize the work of oral contribution speakers who are students or only 3 years past PhD attainment. Read more about eligibility and how to prepare and submit a 1-minute recorded pitch (plus abstract and one-page CV) for the committee in the Parallel Session FAQ.
The Pitch Talk will be announced on Thursday at the Network Science Society Award Plenary. Poster and Lightning Talk Awards will be announced at the final plenary of the meeting on Friday, July 9.
